The Lake of The Ozarks, in central Missouri is easily within driving distance of Chicago, Dallas, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Louisville, Memphis, Omaha, Oklahoma City, and St Louis. The main channel of the Osage Arm stretches 92 miles from end to end and creates over 1,100 miles of shoreline. This gives the area more shoreline than California's Pacific Coast.
